Table Games Dealer

Summary

Performs table dealing services for Blackjack, Roulette and carnival games i.e.: High Card Flush, 3CP, Pai Gow Poker and Ultimate Texas Hold'em by performing the following duties.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Provides high quality of customer service in the execution of all tasks and responsibilities Develops positive customer relations. Always uses proper skills i.e.; respect, patience, attentiveness, etc. when dealing with guests. Responsible for dealing the game of blackjack and a other carnival games listed above in accordance with gaming policies and procedures, including shuffling cards, placement of bets, correct setting of hands, taking up cards, make change, etc. Arrives at designated work station and/or relives dealer on time ensuring the Table Games Floor Supervisor field of vision is not blocked when going in or coming off the game. Greets all customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome; remains calm and attentive, especially during heavy casino activity. Maintains a polite, professional and attentive behavior at all times towards customers and employees.  Acknowledges known and repeat players in a polite, courteous and professional manner. Encourages eye contact on dead games with customer to encourage play. Projects positive body language on live and dead games. Demonstrates attentiveness while dealing the game with cards, placement of cards on layout and dealing with customers to ensure protection of the game and maximize the company’s assets. Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Other duties assigned as directed.  Hours are determined by 24-hour schedule and subject to change. Responsible for being at designated shift 3 minutes prior to get table assignment; in full uniform displaying badge. Must learn, comprehend and comply with all Company policies and procedures, MICS, Gaming regulations and Regulation 31 requirements. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Requirements

Qualifications

Education and Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Requires a minimum of 1000 verifiable hours of blackjack dealing and I additional table game experience.  Customer service experienced required. 

 

Prerequisite:

If granted an interview, must be able to pass a live audition to be considered for employment.

 

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

 

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.  Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

 

Physical Demands
