THE JOB:
Join us as a Table Games Dealer at the iconic Luxor and become a key player in delivering unforgettable experiences for our guests! You’ll bring the thrill of the casino floor to life, expertly dealing a variety of exciting table games while offering world-class service. Your passion for customer engagement will shine as you create a fun, high-energy atmosphere where every guest feels like a VIP. All while ensuring the highest standards of integrity, following all legal and company guidelines, and upholding the Luxor’s reputation for excellence.
STARTING RATE: $12/hour with tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Game Dealing: Proficiently deal one or more game types, including Blackjack, Baccarat, Roulette, Craps, Specialty Games (Poker), and their variations.
Transaction Management: Protect, control, and verify the accuracy of fills, credits, openers/closers, and marker transactions. Accurately exchange cash or markers for chips, collect losing bets, pay winning bets, and collect commissions based on the game dealt.
Communication with Supervisors: Communicate verbally with supervisors or Table Games Managers regarding unnatural or irregular play and disputes during the game.
Mistake Resolution: Notify the supervisor immediately of any mistakes or claims and resolve them only under the supervisor’s direction.
Player Instructions: Clearly verbalize player instructions, card totals, results, or any other required information according to the procedures of each game.
Customer Service: Maintain a helpful and courteous atmosphere at the game table, promoting and maintaining the highest level of service to all guests.
Guest Complaint Resolution: Respond effectively to guest inquiries and resolve complaints within the scope of authority or refer the matter to management if necessary.
Incident Reporting: Notify the supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Age: Must be 21 years or older.
Work Schedule: This is an on-call position requiring flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Experience: At least 6 months of experience dealing multiple table games in a similar resort setting.
Game Expertise: Proficient in a variety of table games, particularly single zero roulette, baccarat, and craps.
Customer Engagement: Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests.
