Table Games - Floor / Box Supervisor

Compensation: $48,920.00

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Table Games Pit Manager, the Table Games Floor Supervisor is responsible for supervising the activity of all table games, ensuring the gaming activity and dealing procedures comply with Table Games Department Internal Controls, Policies, and Procedures. The Table Games Supervisor monitors and supports team members assigned to their section(s)/area(s).

Note: Native American preference will be given.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Supervises the operations of the games in their section. Monitors the games, players, and dealers to ensure maximum game protection. Ensures all gaming controls, policies, and procedures are adhered to. Corrects errors on the games and makes game related decisions. Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner and ensures all guests receive a high level of quality service. Explains and interprets the rules of the games to guests. Effectively deals with guest issues/complaints. Observe, evaluate, and rate players objectively and accurately. Accurately track the table drop and monitor player wins and table wins/losses. Verifies and awards jackpots and other promotional winners. Understands and adheres to all AML/Title 31 procedures. Fills out various work-related forms including Title 31 and multiple transaction logs. Maintain the proper chip inventory for all tables and determine the need for fills/credits. Coordinates and schedules the opening and closing of all games. Assists with dealer rotations, breaks, and monitoring of table minimums. Supervises the work of team members under their authority and evaluates their performance. Shares responsibility for the overall engagement of all team members by addressing and managing team member feedback, suggestions, complaints, and grievances. Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

Experience and Education:

High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree (A.A.) in related field preferred. Minimum of one year experience dealing all major games including Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat and at least (1) Poker variant.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Pueblo of Tesuque Gaming License Must be 21 years or older

Physical Requirements: 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand and walk for extended periods. The employee occasionally is required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee will be required to talk for extended periods and must be able to hear and understand. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to twenty five (25) pounds.

Work Environment: 

Work is generally performed in a casino setting with exposure to second-hand smoke and a high noise level. Due to the nature and scope of this position, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours and irregular shifts will be required.
