Pay:

Trainee Pay: $10.00 Hourly Any time spent dealing to guests is paid $6 an hour plus their tip rate. Current Tip rate during training: $30.21

Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position.

Class Description:

This class is comprised of two modules:

Module One:

Blackjack and Ultimate Texas Hold’em Start date: MON, 10-21-2024 End date: FRI, 11-15-2024 Days: MON-FRI Time: 8am to 4pm Students will be provided a one-hour unpaid lunch break Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to work on the gaming floor while also attending module two.

Module Two:

Three Card and Roulette Start Date: MON, 11-18-2024 End Date: WED, 12-11-2024 Days: MON, TUE, WED Time: 8am to 5pm Students will be provided a one-hour unpaid lunch break

Passing requirements:

Selected applicants are required to pass both Module One and Module Two to continue employment within the Table Games Department. Selected applicants are required to pass both written and physical testing. Two attempts will be provided for each selected applicant. Failure to pass on the second attempt may result in dismissal from class. Exemplar attendance and conduct. Selected applicants unable to pass the class will be offered alternate employment within Choctaw Pocola based upon conduct level and open position status. Upon successful completion of both modules, students will be provided a work schedule from Pocola Table Games.

 

Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Table Games Dealer deals all table games following gaming rules and regulations. You will report to the Table Games Supervisor.

Primary Tasks:

You will review and communicate table game activities with supervisors and managers. Answer customer or public inquiries regarding general gaming procedures, and payouts Clean work areas as designated by management Need to verify identification of customers when needed. You will need to sign and date all paperwork Provide exceptional customer service to guests. Assist with other tasks as may be assigned.

Job Requirements:

1+ years of experience handling large volumes of cash Apply basic math (arithmetic, ratios, proportions, or conversions) Must be customer-focused and maintain a positive atmosphere and informative. Prior experience in direct customer contact
