Tableau Technical Support Specialist TS/SCI with Poly REQUIRED
Position Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tableau Technical Support Specialist with an active TS/SCI clearance and CI polygraph to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing technical support for Tableau, with a focus on troubleshooting, user assistance, and ensuring optimal performance of Tableau environments. This position requires a deep understanding of Tableau software, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a highly secure and sensitive environment.

This position is located in USA VA Chantilly

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Technical Support: Provides implementation and operations and maintenance support for Tableau Server. Utilizes Python/SQL to enhance dashboards. Loads and manages Tableau Server licenses. Establishes and maps live data connections.
• Environment Management: Manage and maintain Tableau Server environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability. Coordinates and performs environment refreshes.
• Content Migration: Supports migration of content from legacy Tableau Server environment to current Tableau Server environment.
• User Assistance: Provisions Tableau users.
• Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve technical issues related to Tableau, including performance tuning, data connectivity, and dashboard optimization.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, troubleshooting procedures, and system configurations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Tableau developers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and operation of Tableau solutions.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical support, with a focus on Tableau software.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep. Strong knowledge of SQL and data connectivity.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation, with a commitment to providing high-quality support and assistance.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:

• Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as Tableau Desktop Specialist, Tableau Desktop Certified Associate, or Tableau Server Certified Associate, are highly desirable.
• Experience: Experience working in a highly secure environment, such as federal government agencies or defense contractors.
• Programming Skills: Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or SQL for data analysis and integration.
• Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $78,400.00 - $169,700.00.
