**Aluminum Welder** **Pay:** $21/Depending on Exp may go up! **On-site in Tacoma, Washington** Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm **Job description** The Welder/Fabricator uses welding, other tools and equipment to join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal to build boats. Position is responsible for the daily coordination of the assigned area, in addition, this position will be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, ensuring standard work is being performed, and identifying and resolving quality issues. Will work under supervision but should be able to perform some basic tasks independently. 3 Day weekends. Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits. **Skill Must Haves** + MIG + Welding + Blueprint reading **Additional skills and qualifications** + Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments + Using processes such as gas metal arc & plasma arc + May set up and/or verify settings on production machines and equipment + Operates a variety of handheld and power-assisted tools **Work Environment** + Production facility (Warehouse) **Performance Expectations** + Safety is important **Additional requirements** + Drug test required **What's in it for you?** **Aerotek and our client are offering a great opportunity for a role for Welders while building boats.
