Job Description A distinguished University in Los Angeles is looking for a Talend Developer to join the Business Intelligence & Analytics team as a new position to support an influx of work and specific projects across campus. This person will be responsible for ETL development and web services management - they will design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Talend. They will perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various sources into data warehouses and other systems, and optimize ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and performance. This consultant will build web services using Talend and also integrate from TAP (workflow automation tool) to Banner which is a higher education platform. This person will collaborate up to 10% of their time with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications, and develop and implement data integration solutions to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives. The other 90% of the role will be spent on development, API integrations, and ensuring data quality. Lastly, they will participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure best practices and coding standards are followed. This role is ideally hybrid or on site in West Los Angeles on campus, but can be remote PST hours (8am-5pm).
