Role Overview: The Talent Acquisition and Training specialist, based in the lower mainland, will play a pivotal role in overseeing the recruitment and training initiatives, focusing on attracting and attaining top talent is integral to the rapid growth in this organization.
Key Responsibilities: Proactively source and identify potential candidates on LinkedIn and Indeed by using advanced search techniques, Boolean searches, and AI tools to find suitable talent for open roles. Create, post, and manage job advertisements on LinkedIn, indeed, and other job boards, ensuring the descriptions are clear, engaging, and align with the company's brand and hiring goals Engage with prospective candidates on LinkedIn through personalized messaging and follow-up, nurturing relationships with passive candidates to build a talent pipeline Builds relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Review resumes and applications from LinkedIn and Indeed to identify top candidates, shortlisting profiles that meet the role's requirements and pre-qualifying them for further stages. Track and report metrics on the performance of LinkedIn and Indeed job posts, analyzing the reach, number of applicants, and source of hire, and adjust sourcing strategies based on insights. Recruiting 6-8 diverse roles monthly Oversees the employee cycle for the initial 90 days of employment, including orientation and training. Maintains candidate databases using ATS and excel. Attends networking events, hiring fairs, and other applicable events to gain exposure and promote the company brand. Promotes and thrives the company's mission and values of providing world class care to their customers. Qualifications: 6+ years of full cycle recruitment experience with all levels of positions. LinkedIn and Indeed expert, LI certifications would be an asset Proven experience in successfully sourcing, screening, and hiring talent for different types of roles across various functions (e.g., IT, finance, operations, medical, sales, and executive positions). Proven knowledge and application of employment laws and regulations Strong communication skills, EQ and business acumen. Background sourcing unique and versatile roles. Experience with utilizing social media, events and other avenues for attracting talent including headhunting is a must. Ability to build internal relationships with individuals at all levels, as well as external relationships. Strong organizational and planning skills with impeccable attention to detail. Experience working in a KPI driven environment Ability to prioritize and manage a high volume and ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, as well as having a driven, team focused, and positive attitude. What You Will Receive: $65,000-$90,000 with strong bonus program Extended benefits package.
