We are seeking an innovative, experienced and results-driven Talent Acquisition Coordinator for The Walt Disney Studios. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for providing coordination and operational support to a high-volume recruitment function, building and improving the foundation of TA processes, and providing full-cycle talent program operational support. This position requires a quick and resourceful person who can overcome hurdles, think outside the box and build solid long-term relationships to get the job done.
The Studios Talent Acquisition team is a highly visible department that plays an integral part in key business decisions. The best person for this job is a self-starter with an operational mindset and strong attention to detail. You will be helping to shape our candidate experience, assist in delivery of our recruitment processes, support our recruitment brand, and support an excellent talent experience post-hire.
The TA coordinator will report to the Director, Talent Acquisition in support of core Studios Talent Acquisition needs and projects. The Walt Disney Studios encompasses a collection of respected film studios, including Disney, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar, Lucasfilm, Marvel Studios, Searchlight Pictures, and 20th Century Studios. It is also home to Disney Theatrical Group, producer of world-class stage shows, as well as Disney Music Group.
What You Will Do:Scheduling and coordination of onsite interviews.
Support Talent Acquisition team to run more efficiently through supporting workflow, resources, and overseeing logistics like offer processing and hand offs for onboarding.
Partner with internal teams to bring Workday insights to local recruitment team and support Workday actions and processes (req assignments, pausing/cancelling reqs).
Work closely with TA leadership and recruiters to continuously improve and implement recruiter workflow and technology processes (i.e. HC master tracking for TA, Studios job opportunities emails, Smartsheet projects, P&I work, cross-studios Google drive, etc.)
Assists with maintaining process flow documents, job aids, tools and other dynamic tools to support the talent acquisition process flow (i.e. SharePoint maintenance, create training materials and videos).
Participates in enterprise TA Operations meetings and brings insights back to core recruitment team.
Manages Studio TA Shared Inbox; track and provide timely responses to employee referral inquiries.
Additional Responsibilities:
Miscellaneous Projects as needed (i.e. invoicing, org chart tracking).
Help managing calendar and scheduling for TA Director as needed.
Collaborates with members of the HR team on key initiatives, process efficiencies and cross-departmental projects (ex: Executive Onboarding, Regrettable Loss, Black Talent Network Experiences, GHRO, ER).
Interfaces with cross functional HR partners across Studios HR (HRBP’s, Comp, ER, HR Administration, GHRO).
Manages monthly Open Roles email, including getting role information to highlight from Talent Acquisition, and sourcing relevant career resources from Talent Solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
A general interest in film and the entertainment industry.
2 or more years of experience working in a fast-paced professional office environment.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, including a proficiency in clear, concise, and compelling oral and written communication with proven phone etiquette and professionalism in customer service.
Comfortability interacting with multiple levels of leadership.
Ability to multi-task in a rapidly changing work environment effectively balancing and prioritizing multiple projects, with demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
Task oriented with experience following structured processes.
Self-starter, quick learner and ability to drive results with friendly demeanor.
Proficient MS Office skills (Microsoft Outlook email & calendaring, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong client relationship management capabilities - capable of rapidly building strong, effective, and trusted relationships and networks.
Excellent critical thinking skills, organizational & project management skills and attention to detail.
Ability to assess, revise and streamline processes that optimize workflow.
Preferred Qualifications:
Operations and project management experience with 1 or more years of experience in the talent acquisition space
Experience with Workday or SAP SuccessFactors HR/Applicant Tracking System
Experience using Smartsheet
The hiring range for this position in Burbank is $53,300.00-$71,300.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
