Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Talent Acquisition Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition Team and assist with the execution of the hiring and onboarding candidate experience. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will communicate with candidates and staff by scheduling screenings/interviews, maintaining the applicant tracking system, generating reports on recruitment activities and other recruitment related projects. In addition, will assist with recruitment at hiring events and promote Brightpoint as an employer of choice. This position will report to the Sr. Manager of Talent Acquisition and Compensation.

Core Responsibilities:

Support all recruitment administrative functions within the applicant tracking system (ATS). Audit ATS daily to ensure that the status of candidates and postings are accurate and up to date. Communicates and collaborates with hiring managers regarding posting jobs and the status of the hiring process to ensure a smooth recruitment process. Maintain the ATS by ensuring that job posts and candidate records are organized, updated, and archived according to department procedures. Create job posts and refreshes positions in ATS and other job boards. Create social media posts to market job openings and communicate with potential job candidates. Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates, as assigned. Screen candidates for job openings, as assigned. Schedule candidate interviews for specific open positions, as assigned, in coordination with the hiring manager. Assist with the preparation of employment offers and onboarding documents. Assist with on-boarding of new hires and interns in the ATS. Monitor the talent team email and voicemail boxes; responds with requested information promptly. Assist with organizing and attends career fairs and recruitment events. Support Talent Team with ad hoc projects, such as assisting with creation of marketing materials and generating reports from the ATS. Generate reports on recruitment activity and metrics, as needed. Contribute suggestions and assists with initiatives to promote Brightpoint as an employer of choice.  Performs other duties as assigned. 

Candidate qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred. Experience in hiring and recruitment strongly preferred. Customer Service experience in a fast-paced setting highly preferred.  Experience with UltiPro, UKG, or similar human resources information system (HRIS) preferred. Demonstrates knowledge of state and federal labor laws and employment law required. Demonstrates proficiency in the use of social media and other online recruitment platforms. Demonstrates excellent writing and oral communication skills to effectively address varied audiences. Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills to establish and maintain rapport, teamwork, and professional relationships with candidates, co-workers, agency staff, and recruitment resources. Demonstrates initiative, consistent follow-through, and the ability to work independently. Demonstrates effective organizational and time management skills with the ability to set priorities, handle multiple projects and responsibilities, and meet deadlines. Demonstrates intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, videoconference software, electronic database systems, and other related information management systems. Must have a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance and access to a reliable vehicle to execute the position’s responsibilities.

Job details:

Compensation: Starts at $21/hr; offers are commensurate with experience. Benefits: Medical/dental/vision insurance, 3+ weeks paid time off in the first year including the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day (PTO increases with tenure); 11 paid holidays, supplemental insurance options, 401(k) with match (more benefits details here) Location:  Home office at 200 West Monroe Street (downtown Chicago loop).  Schedule: Full-time, hourly; regular business hours (Hybrid). Student Loan Forgiveness: Brightpoint is an approved agency for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
