Johnson Service Group, a nationally award winning staffing firm has an immediate need to hire a Talent Acquisition Coordinator for a Biotech client in San Diego.  

The position is hybrid | $25Hr.-$30/Hr. | 6 month Contract 

SUMMARY:
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator supports the Human Resources department by delivering exceptional customer service and administrative assistance. This role ensures a positive first impression for potential employees and provides an outstanding candidate experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Handle administrative recruitment tasks, including routing requisitions and offers, scheduling interviews, and drafting offer letters. Create and manage job postings for career opportunities. Track candidates in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure timely follow-ups. Conduct reference checks, initial resume reviews, and phone interviews. Support entry-level technical recruiting and sourcing efforts. Participate in process improvements and new program initiatives. Attend career fairs and networking events. Assist with onboarding processes and, occasionally, new hire orientation. Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information. Exhibit professional behavior aligned with company values and goals.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s in HR or a business-related field preferred. 1–3 years of recruitment experience; ATS experience required (UKG preferred). Experience in regulated industries (biotech, diagnostics, medical device) preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills. Knowledge of federal and state employment regulations. Ability to work collaboratively with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
