MITRE is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our team. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is critical to ensuring that candidates and hiring managers have an excellent experience through the pre-hire journey. You will work cross-functionally with a range of teams, from recruiters and hiring managers to department heads, department administration and other internal stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Partner closely with Recruiters to ensure meticulous quality checks for job descriptions and/or requisition details prior to posting, guaranteeing accuracy and relevance, scheduling interviews, and supporting the candidate and hiring manager experience
Enter requisitions into Workday and post the jobs on MITRE’s Careers page
Partner with all stakeholders to provide support on recruiting process
Drive the interview process and partner with Department Admins to arrange interview schedules and escort candidates to in person interviews as needed, adhering to the MITRE standard interview coordination process
Coordinate and track interview feedback
Administrative review for data compliance to include review of offers, review of former government employee process, prior worker check, and job requisition
Operations and project support; ad hoc projects as assigned
Demonstrates a customer-centric attitude, prioritizing team collaboration and synergy to deliver exceptional service
Highly adaptable, capable of providing comprehensive support across various aspects of Talent Acquisition, ensuring seamless coverage and collaboration with colleagues
An interest in gaining a deeper understanding of new tools and talent acquisition technologies.
This position is designated as hybrid, requiring a minimum of 50% on-site; in addition, may require the coordinator to be on-site to escort in person interviews as requested.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel
Experience coordinating interviews in a mid to high volume environment and working directly with Hiring Managers and Administrative or Executive Assistants for coordination
Strong attention to detail and follow up
Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt and be flexible to change management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Understands the importance of data accuracy
Previous experience partnering with Recruiters for success
This position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-site work schedule
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably Workday
Familiarity with OFCCP regulations
Experience using Concur for coordinating travel
Experience with MS Teams
