Talent Acquisition Coordinator

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator manages the details of scheduling, hiring and the onboarding process, through relocations and immigration sponsorship, as applicable.  Serves as a primary contact, ambassador of the organization for Candidates and New Employees and functions as a key point of contact for the full recruitment cycle, which includes, high complexity of interview scheduling, travel arrangements, expense reimbursement, onboarding, immigration sponsorship management and relocation processes.

Essential Functions:

Schedule candidate interviews as requested by Recruiters or Manager, talent Acquisition; communicates interview date/time location with candidate as well as hiring managers. Arranges travel hotel, transportation, dinners with hiring managers and hosted tours, and other plans if needed. Process transactions relating to onboarding (for employees and contractors) such as submitting criminal background, employment verification, and processing I-9 on new hire first day Serves as a liaison with recruiters, benefits team, HRIS, payroll team, and others to coordinate and create employee records with all the steps through screening, onboarding and hiring new employees or handling the successful transfer of shipboard employees and contractor conversions. Process internal transfer and promotions via applicant tracking and HRIS systems Initiate and process all non-immigrant visas (H1B, L1, TN, etc.) for new and extension applications in partnership with Immigration Law firm Coordinate employee relocation including working with vendor partner, expense reimbursements with payroll and related tasks Confirm Applicant Tracking System to ensure timely processing of new employee files, resolve file rejection issues in collaboration with HRIS. Process and code invoices and expense reports.  Track recruitment spending Interact with foreign nationals and/or hiring managers on a regular basis to answer and resolve general and/or specific immigration questions/issues Conduct Day 1 orientation overview with new hires.

Qualifications:

Associate’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Applicant Tracking Systems (Oracle, a plus), digital interviewing platforms, and other recruitment technologies. Microsoft Office 365 Minimum 1 year in HR, recruitment, guest or customer service in Hospitality or related experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Strong communication (written and verbal), organizational skills, attention to detail, good business acumen and time management skills are required. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, outgoing, engaging, polished and professional presence.  The ability to effectively interact with candidates, as well as employees and managers at all levels, is critical.  Position requires knowledge of onboarding processes, policies, and practices.

Physical Demands:  Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time. 

Travel: No or very little travel

Work Conditions:  Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. 

This position is classified as “in-office.”  Because of the nature of the role, employees are required to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida five days each week.  Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
