About the Role

As the Coordinator, Talent Acquisition, reporting to the Vice President of Talent Acquisition, you will be part of The New York Times Talent Acquisition team and play a critical part in facilitating the movement of candidates through the end-to-end recruitment process. You will partner with a team of recruiters to provide our candidates and hiring teams with smooth interviewing experiences and serve as the main contact throughout the entire interview process. You will also be responsible for other recruitment activities such as job postings, background checks, and hiring.
Responsibilities:
You will schedule a high volume of phone, video and in-person interviews across multiple departments through the use of a streamlined scheduling process including interview request queues and email templates.
You will assist recruiters with candidate management by moving candidates through the interview stages in Greenhouse and Workday Recruiting
You will work with the hiring teams to provide a smooth and inclusive hiring experience
You will assist recruiters with the background check process
You will follow a clear set of tasks to process hires and onboard them in Workday and will escalate issues to the TA Operations team
You will help manage candidate and recruiter support requests in shared inboxes, distribution lists, team channels and other collaboration tools
You will contribute to other related recruiting projects for improving the candidate experience and scheduling efficiency
Basic Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in a Talent Acquisition or HR role, in a scheduling or TA Operations capacity
Experience using applicant tracking systems
The annual base pay range for this role is between $57,000.00 and $72,000.00.
