Job Description

Global Portfolio Division (GPD) was initially formed to position Takeda’s future success by growing our global brands as well as supporting continued growth of our late-stage pipeline and driving best-in-class launches.  Made up of over 12,000 employees across 77 countries and based in three main regions:  Europe& Canada (EUCAN), Growth and Emerging Markets (GEM), and China.  Additionally, GPD includes 3 global organizations:  Vaccines BU, Global Portfolio & Launch Strategy and Global Medical as well as business partner functions.

The Talent Acquisition Lead for France, MEA and Belgium/Netherlands will be responsible for the strategic development and execution of proactive recruitment strategies to attract key talent in line with corporate objectives in the region, specifically for France, MEA and Belgium/Netherlands. The TA Lead will develop strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. They partner with our RPO provider in ensuring pipelines of qualified candidates to meet both existing and forecasted talent needs. They demonstrate and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the marketplace, while continuously building strong recruiting networks and developing innovative and creative methods and techniques to source talent and promote the Takeda brand.

Additionally, they will take the lead for TA sourcing, selection, and assessment strategy across EUCAN. They will build recruiter and hiring manager capability within the function as well as champion the launch of any new assessment initiatives. They understand sourcing best practices and can lead the creation of an optimal sourcing mix.

Role modeling the values of Takeda is critical as this is at the core of who we are, and this role is responsible for positioning this with current and prospective candidates for roles in EUCAN.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Develops and maintains strong partnerships with the leadership teams, additionally with HR organization (HR BL, HR Partners, HR Operations, Compensation Specialists)Is trusted partner for hiring managers ensuring that in partnership the best talent can be found for their areaPartners with RPO to ensure hiring needs of the business are fully met including enabling and on-going sharing of key information with RPO recruitersDevelops and implements comprehensive recruitment sourcing strategies across EUCAN in partnership with RPO (cross functional management of RPO Partner) and other TA experts ensuring they are integrated with Takeda’s brandPartners with EUCAN, GPD and Global TA teams to drive talent acquisition strategy for EUCANAccountable for ensuring that Takeda's employer brand / EVP is fully leveraged as part of overall attraction and candidate engagement strategiesTakes ownership of a select number of senior level/executive and confidential rolesDevelops internal and external talent mappings for business benchmarking.Brings innovative approaches to our talent strategy in a way that demonstrates the values and ways of working of our organizationUses data and analytics to underpin the recruitment service delivery and to champion continuous improvement including engaging stakeholders through innovative reportingLeverages new technology solutions that will impact efficiency and effectiveness of TA creating an experience for all stakeholdersLeads efforts around sourcing, selection, and assessment strategy across EUCAN, including building of recruiter and hiring manager capability within the function as well as champions the launch of any new assessment initiatives.

SKILLS and LEADERSHIP CAPABILITIES

7-10 years of experience within talent acquisitionPharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry experience is a mustAt least 4 years of progressive recruiting experience performing regional responsibilities in a highly sophisticated matrixed corporate settingExperience recruiting diverse talents at all levels of the organization including the ability to directly source talent at all levels adopting creative strategic methodsProven ability and experience in effectively interacting with and influencing senior level HR and business/function leaders to establish trust and credibilityStrong experience in working across functions and in different cultures in high level complex environment TA experience in multiple markets including EUCAN, MEA countries, able to deliver nuanced local TA solutions whist still adhering to a global standard.Self-motivated with high learning agility, deals well with change and shows high resilience in VUCA environmentStrategic perspective and high business acumen / focusBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceFluent in French and English
