As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will own the recruiting process, helping us attract, assess, and select top talent for our distribution centers (DC) and supply chain operations. You will work closely with Supply Chain Leadership and HR to identify talent needs and develop sourcing and recruiting strategies to meet them. You will build a high-performance recruiting team that uses metrics and standard processes to ensure speed and quality of hire.
What You’ll Do:
Drive Results:
Collaborate with DC and Supply Chain HR and management to develop staffing strategies that drive quality hires to meet business needs.
Lead staffing meetings with stakeholders and report results to leadership.
Track and report results weekly, period, and quarterly, focusing on KPIs, budgets, and outcomes.
Establish and monitor standard recruiting processes to ensure our systems are optimized.
Use key performance indicators to manage the recruiting function and create a results-oriented team.
Continually assess recruitment performance and find ways to handle hard-to-fill positions.
Strategic Planning:
Develop high-volume and niche recruiting strategies to support critical/underperforming markets and field growth initiatives.
Create toolkits and training to help distribution centers, assess and hire talent with a focus on identifying applicants with Commercial Driving License (CDL), hydraulic mechanical, warehouse and/or PIE (forklift, pallet jack, order picker, reach trucks and stackers) experience
Stay up to date on best practices and trends and conduct regular competitor analysis, presenting findings to the Leadership team.
Partner with business leadership teams to evaluate current and future capacity needs and implement strategic plans.
Employer Branding & Media:
Implement successful marketing campaigns to generate desired leads.
Develop and execute employment branding strategies to attract top talent.
Recruiting Best Practices
Recruit and provide hands on-support as needed for roles in our Store Support Center (SSC) as needed. Manage full-cycle recruiting including candidate sourcing, interview management, offer and onboarding.
Lead a team of recruiters filling Supply Chain roles in distribution centers and the SSC. Team consists of 3 full-time employees and 2 contract resources.
Oversee the hiring cycle to ensure a great experience for all candidates and hiring teams.
Manage vendor relationships and all outreach programs, maintaining contacts within community groups, vendors, and trade groups.
Promote a diverse candidate pool through effective sourcing and outreach strategies.
Requirements:
7+ years of recruiting experience required, including experience managing a team
2+ years of high volume/warehouse/distribution center recruiting experience
