Talent Acquisition Manager – Emerging Talent

This remarkable virtual opportunity will allow you to develop and lead the strategy and delivery of high-impact university campus talent attraction programs, engaging emerging civil engineering talent across the nation. You will have the chance to develop, implement, and scale impeccable new programs, ensuring an excellent hiring manager and candidate experience and a smooth transition for interns and leadership development candidates who are launching new full-time careers at Michael Baker.

 

The successful candidate will:

Design and implement competitive university campus strategies for internship and new graduate programs, aligning them to business objectives and hiring goals. Nurture and sustain key relationships with universities and educational programs to cultivate a diverse civil engineering talent pipeline. Manage a team of Early Talent Recruiters and perform full cycle recruiting for interns and early career candidates, partnering with hiring leaders and HR partners. Work closely with different internal collaborators, including Human Resources Business Partners, DE&I, Learning & Development, and Talent Acquisition teams. Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with local and legal requirements. Provide consistent reporting to evaluate the efficiency of early career engagement activities. Plan, coordinate and execute successful early career, campus, and virtual recruiting events, information sessions, and campus visits. Develop winning strategies for onboarding, engagement sessions, and intern transitions to full-time roles, ensuring an excellent candidate experience. Manage cost and expenses within budget. Adopt, fully leverage and optimize the usage of all available recruiting tools and platforms.

 

Professional requirements

7+ years’ experience managing a dispersed virtual campus team. 10+ years’ experience supporting campus and university recruiting and hiring initiatives. Demonstrated experience in building talent development rotational leadership programs. Excellent organizational, data analysis/reporting, and project management skills. Learning agility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities. Ability to work in ambiguous situations and maintain positive relationships and proactive communication with business leaders and collaborators. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, or other related field.

 

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000 annually.  This is dependent on the candidate's individual experience and skillset.
