Talent Acquisition Manager
Overview The Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies, attracting top talent, and managing the talent acquisition process from sourcing to onboarding. This position will provide insight and direction to the hiring managers, executives, and other team members by understanding their hiring needs, current market trends and attracting the right people to continue driving the success of the business. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in recruitment, strong leadership skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with various teams. Location:Duluth, GA Schedule:Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm (Hybrid) Compensation:Competitive Salary with bonus potential Responsibilities + Manage a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists who facilitate the entire life cycle of recruiting: candidate sourcing, interviewing, and hiring. + Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract and select qualified candidates for various positions within the organization. + Oversee and manage the entire recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and presenting potential candidates to hiring managers. + Focus on delivering a superior candidate experience throughout the entire recruiting life cycle. + Partner with key hiring managers and leaders across the business to ensure strategic alignment. + Utilize various sourcing methods to attract a diverse pool of candidates, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals. + Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and other talent acquisition partners, ensuring effective collaboration and timely delivery of qualified candidates. + Oversee the candidate background check process working with background check vendor and NDCP’s Safety team on drug testing and DOT candidates. + Manage the offer negotiation process and provide guidance to hiring managers to ensure competitive and fair compensation packages are offered to successful candidates. + Ensure successful implementation and use of all features of the Applicant Tracking System. Troubleshoot issues with the applicant tracking and onboarding system. Ensures both systems are updated accordingly. + Oversee the New Hire Orientation Program working with the Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist and Human Resources Generalist to keep the PowerPoint presentation updated. + Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment to continuously enhance the talent acquisition process. + Develop and monitor recruiting metrics and reports to track the effectiveness of recruitment efforts, analyze data, and make strategic recommendations for improvement. + Lead and develop the recruiting team while continuously improving our delivery for exceptional results. + Mentor and provide training to HR team members on recruitment strategies, tools, and techniques. Supervision Exercised This position directly manages others. Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. + 5 years proven experience as a Recruiter or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. + Management experience overseeing a team and leading projects is preferred. + In-depth knowledge of recruitment best practices, including sourcing techniques, interview methods, and candidate assessment tools. + Knowledge of recruitment tactics involved with hard-to-fill positions. + Solid understanding of employment laws, regulations, and industry trends. + Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to continuously achieve recruitment goals. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners. + Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. + Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software. + High level of integrity and professionalism with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Other Requirements Ability and willingness to travel overnight/multi-night.
