Position Overview
Lead the Talent Acquisition team to source, recruit, hire, and onboard top talent, while fostering our employment brand, ensuring compliant and progressive recruiting processes, and collaborating with hiring managers and business leaders. This role is both hands-on in recruiting and overseeing the Talent Acquisition function. As a people leader, you will coach and mentor the team to achieve excellence in talent acquisition.
Job Functions
+ Lead and manage recruiting efforts to optimize effectiveness, continuously improve talent acquisition and hiring practices, and ensure regulatory compliance.
+ Partner with marketing to identify and implement internal and external marketing strategies to attract, recruit, hire and retain individuals for the company.
+ Coach, mentor, and lead Talent Acquisition Partners.
+ Oversee all aspects of the recruiting process, including sourcing talent, advising hiring managers on efficient and effective interview processes, and driving the offer process.
+ Deliver an exceptional candidate experience by making every interaction an opportunity to showcase our people, culture, and core values.
+ Develop and execute long-term recruitment strategies with schools (high school, technical, college).
+ Oversee and participate in all recruiting events, including job fairs, on-campus recruiting, open houses, and network events.
+ Ensure a successful new hire first day experience and seamless transition to onboarding.
+ Lead belonging initiatives throughout the hiring process, including job descriptions, sourcing strategies, and inclusive interview processes to improve the selection of underrepresented candidates.
+ Design and deliver recruiting reports, scorecards, tracking metrics, sources, and results to inform recruitment strategies.
+ Develop and measure quality of hire strategies to reduce turnover.
+ Train leaders on effective interviewing skills.
+ Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance and application/resume retention.
+ Manage and maintain the employee referral program, ensuring timely contact with internally generated candidates, tracking new hires from referrals, and timely payment of referral bonuses.
+ Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party organizations, including recruitment agencies.
Required Knowledge, Experience, and Skills
+ Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration, Communications or related field.
+ Expert knowledge and at least seven (7) years of full cycle recruiting experience.
+ Minimum of 3-5 years of experience leading a talent acquisition team
+ Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
+ Experience in leveraging innovative recruiting trends and practices to continually refine and improve the recruiting process and candidate experience.
+ SPHR and / or SHRM-CP / SCP preferred
+ Solid knowledge of talent acquisition-related compliance requirements
+ Ability to be organized and detail-oriented
+ Ability to implement sourcing strategies that build a representative and inclusive candidate pipeline
+ Strong interviewing skills and the ability to assess a person’s experience and qualifications
+ Ability to communicate, interact, influence and negotiate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
+ Proficient knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems other recruiting tools and resources
+ Strong MS Office skills including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
+ Demonstrated ability to present to and work with leadership
+ Self-motivated and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
+ Ability to adapt quickly and be flexible to changing business needs
+ Must have the ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures
