Here’s the scoop - Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will support full lifecycle recruitment and partner closely with internal clients across Champion Petfoods to source, recruit, and onboard key talent in all aspects of our business. As part of the People & Organization team, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage end to end recruitment on assigned roles as well as support the Talent Acquisition team as needed.
This role is based out of our corporate office in Louisville, CO on a hybrid schedule.
What a typical day looks like:
Manage quality focused full-cycle recruitment (job posting, sourcing, shortlisting, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation), evaluating candidates for core values and culture fit. Identify and apply appropriate recruitment strategy on a per position basis ie. sorting applications, internal candidates, and proactive outreach. Strategically partner with hiring managers and the People and Organization team to define position requirements, tailor job descriptions, and establish recruiting strategies and processes. Provide guidance, support, and coaching to hiring managers on behavioral based interview techniques and develop appropriate interview guides to be used in the selection process. Perform other duties supporting the Talent Acquisition team as required.What are we looking for?
Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline. 4+ years of internal recruiting experience within a corporate recruiting environment hiring at professional, senior professional and management levels. RPR designation considered an asset. Extensive experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools. Ability to recruit in all levels of the organization, from entry level to senior positions. Proven skills in strategic recruitment and a clear understanding of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle process. Proactive approach with a strong sense of urgency and a proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships. Flexible and capable of working in a fast-paced environment, while managing multiple recruiting projects simultaneously. Self-directed, with ability to work successfully both independently and within a team environment.What can you expect from Champion?
