Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job Purpose:

Our Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for full life-cycle recruitment for specific requisitions, while collaborating with Talent Acquisition Partners on candidate generation for critical business segments. This position will also be involved in driving strategic Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

● Provide full lifecycle recruiting from Hiring Manager intake to onboarding. 
● Promptly communicate and make recommendations to Hiring Managers and TA Partners on status of sourcing for open positions. 
● Identify, recommend and execute on any process flows needing improvement to ensure a successful Hiring Manager and Candidate Experience. 
● Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Leadership on strategic initiatives and projects. 
● Effective utilization of Workday and CRM systems, including proper documentation, pipelining of future candidates, development of our talent pool and applicant review. 
● Effectively communicate the Veritiv story to build brand awareness in the candidate marketplace.

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

● Full Desk Recruiting experience required.
● Strong in interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels in the organization.
● Outstanding organizational, time management, problem solving skills.
● Demonstrated experience in identifying top talent using direct sourcing methods.

Work Experience:

● 3-5 years of related job experience.● Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.● Ability to work quickly and efficiently.● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.● Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).● Strong planning and organization skills are required.

Education:

● Bachelor's Degree Preferred
