Talent Acquisition Specialist

Position Summary

Play a leading role in building our ever growing, successful global energy practice.  Utilize your communication, project management, and business partnership skills to support management in achieving record high results.  

Manage the home office and international talent acquisition process. Support the hiring for the operating unit headquarters, international project recruitment, and surge proposals.

Position Responsibilities

Provide full life-cycle recruitment support to home office, proposal, and project teams. Collaborate with hiring managers and HR team to develop and revise position descriptions. Partner with management to identify staffing needs. Review resumes, phone screen candidates, schedule interviews, check references, conduct salary negotiations, prepare, and extend verbal offers in coordination with HR. Advise and train hiring managers on recruitment compliance standards and best practices. Develop and maintain a pipeline of key talent through online sources and employ networking strategies to create a personal connection between Tetra Tech and high-caliber consultant talent. Drive applicant traffic by listing job postings on job boards, social media, corporate career page, and other possible channels. Proactively recruit by engaging with geographical and industry specific candidates, building a relationship with candidates ahead of hiring demands.   Assist proposal team with recruitment responsibilities to include developing staffing plans, tailoring candidates’ resumes, and other assigned duties. Manage the applicant tracking system (Taleo). Complete weekly reports on talent pipeline and potential talent markets and report out to the Executive Management Team. Manage ad hoc initiatives and projects. Additional responsibilities as needed.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, communication, business administration or another related field. Five years of professional, business experience working within communications, project operations, human resources, or other related fields. Mastery of social media platforms for outreach purposes (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook). Outstanding multitasking and organizational capabilities, including high-level ability to independently plan, prioritize, take initiative, and manage multiple deadlines. Experience working productively in a fast-paced work environment, balancing competing priorities. Strong writing and editing skills.

Preferred but Not Required Qualifications

Prior recruiting experience. Prior experience working in a global, multicultural environment. Prior experience working with USAID or other multilateral donors funded projects. Utilized enterprise applicant tracking systems (Taleo, BrassRing, Workday, etc.) Demonstrated knowledge of advanced sourcing techniques.
