Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting, including screening and recommending placement of staff through creative sourcing methods both internally and externally. This role manages technical and non-technical exempt professional positions, as well as management positions. The ideal candidate can work independently with minimal guidance and serve as a resource to less experienced Talent Acquisition employees.
ResponsibilitiesPartner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to determine staffing needs.Screen resumes, interview candidates by phone or in person, administer assessments and reference/background checks, make hiring recommendations, and deliver employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt positions within an assigned territory.Serve as an expert for recruiting candidates within an assigned territory.Use traditional and nontraditional resources such as career fairs, online job fairs, and community network events to identify and attract quality candidates.Partner with Sourcing Specialists to bring a diverse slate of qualified candidates to the hiring manager.Manage the internal transfer process, including screening and coordination of interviews with hiring managers, and transfer offer letters.Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding the recruiting process.Develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external clients to achieve staffing goals.Communicate important employment information during the delivery of employment offers, such as benefits, compensation, and non-compete agreements.Ensure onboarding and new hire orientation processes occur.Work with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.Manage current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).Manage application/resume file and retention according to company policy.Maintain memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to the industry.Lead the development of one or more annual Affirmative Action Plans.Suggest and help implement ongoing process improvements to ensure an effective, efficient, and compliant recruiting process.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree required, preferably in human resource management or a related field.Five years of corporate experience in recruitment and placement of applicants in professional and management-level exempt positions.Three years of experience working with electronic applicant systems and internet recruiting sources.Valid driver's license.Additional Skills & QualificationsBusiness AcumenStrong verbal and written communication skills.Global Cultural AwarenessRelationship ManagementConsulting / coachingWork Environment
This is currently a hybrid position. The role may return to the office onsite five days a week beginning June 1, 2025. The work environment includes the use of applicant tracking systems and requires compliance with company policies and federal/state laws.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41.14 - $41.14/hr.
