Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will actively recruit top diverse talent. The position, based in Raleigh, NC, will source qualified talent for open positions (hourly and salaried) in our East Division. You will develop effective staffing strategies for current and future needs and implement a variety of sourcing techniques to build a qualified and diverse candidate pool. You have strong knowledge of recruitment practices, employment law and the ability to communicate with managers about the evolving skills needed to keep Martin Marietta competitive.
Responsibilities
Partner with hiring managers to forecast staffing needs and place candidates in a timely mannerBuild a diverse candidate pool, proactively source and identify active and passive candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, job boards, internet sourcing, networking, employee referrals, and other technical or creative methodsWork with hiring managers to ensure the hiring process moves forward to hit hiring targetsManage the candidate process, act as a candidate advocate, and utilize the Applicant Tracking System to efficiently process and track candidatesTrack recruiting goals and metrics for the divisionPropose and assist with implementing ongoing improvements to recruitment effortsAttention to detail and keen sense of safeguarding other people's property and informationRequirements
Bachelor's degree2 years of successful recruiting or relevant experienceExperience with applicant tracking systemsExtensive knowledge of/and experience sourcing and attracting candidates with LinkedIn Recruiter and other candidate sourcing methods and toolsKnowledge and success in executing a full-cycle recruiting processExceptional customer service focus combined with exemplary follow-throughProficiency with MS OfficeProven organizational skills with ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demandsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to take initiative and build strong productive relationshipsMust be self-directed and work well on a distributed teamIn return, we offer a highly competitive benefits package, including:• Medical
