TE's Talent Acquisition teams evaluate TE's ability to recruit and select the desired employees and develop, implement and monitor the programs and processes used in recruitment and selection. They source, recruit, screen, interview and recommend external and/or internal candidates to staff open requisitions. They also utilize the services of employment agencies and/or place employment ads in appropriate sources, including the intranet, Internet and print media.
The teams are responsible for developing and implementing recruiting plans and administering talent management efforts and employee referral programs, managing the resume tracking system and ensuring consistent corporate image throughout recruiting campaigns.
• Responsible to shape and manage best in class University Relations programs, such as summer intern, rotational, and direct hire student recruitment programs.
• Executes an innovative full life-cycle recruiting strategy for the business unit and/or functional groups allowing the organization to have the right talent, at the right time, for the best cost.
• Creates search strategies, sources candidates, and identifies key contingency or retained search partners as needed.
• Manages the interview process, develops offers in partnership with the Director, Human Resources, closes candidates, and ensures a smooth onboarding process.
• Partners with leaders, hiring managers, and HR business partners and/or Directors to understand talent acquisition needs and overall business plans in order to attract world class talent within accepted TAT and quality standards that also drive the achievement of business results.
• Supports extended partners in creating a culture of execution excellence within staffing operations, and ensures a zero miss on compliance related to the function and the company.
What your background should look like:
• BS/BA degree in appropriate field or local equivalent required.
• Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Social Science, or MBA preferred.
• Typically requires minimum 5+ years of professional working experience in Human Resources; 3-5 years of experience with increasing responsibility in the field of recruitment preferred.
• Previous generalist and university relations experience preferred, including familiarity with immigration and visa requirements.
• Global experience, especially supporting functions or business units outside the US, highly preferred.
• Experience in working with multiple stakeholders in a matrix environment, and in working with recruitment partners in meeting hiring needs within expected time frame.
• Experience recruiting for a manufacturing operation and/or within the automotive industry preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of applicant tracking systems preferred.
• Proficiency in SAP preferred
