Job SummaryThe Talent Gateway (TG) is a professional development program unique to UM-Dearborn that empowers students to build upon, reflect, and articulate their college experiences as they relate to career readiness competencies recognized by the National Association of Colleges and Employers. Talent Gateway is a virtual community that engages students with dedicated program staff, peer mentors, comprehensive workshops, and community engagement events. TG members can earn points by completing structured reflective exercises through a variety of activities that leverage experiences students are already undertaking in class, at home, and at work. Students who earn enough points and complete all required exercises will earn the (M)Talent distinction on their official transcript.
Talent Ambassadors are student employees who assist Talent Gateway members in navigating a broad wealth of academic, experiential, and leadership-based opportunities available both on and off campus. Talent Ambassadors are instrumental in introducing students to the Talent Gateway program through presentations, social media, open houses, career fairs, and other virtual/in-person events.
