JOB SUMMARY:
The Talent Coordinator works closely with the regional employment team, recruiters, hiring managers and candidates to ensure a seamless and positive experience during the recruiting and onboarding process. Successful candidates are highly organized and efficient who can work independently throughout the recruiting process. This individual must be a creative, high energy, a hands-on professional who can successfully multitask and has strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. They must build relationships with recruiters and candidates. The Specialist must provide friendly, excellent service to internal and external customers and perform special assignments and related duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Reviews all extended offers received via Oracle Recruiting Cloud to coordinate processing of candidates. Schedules candidates for processing and new hire orientation Ensures all onboarding documents are accurate and completed in a timely manner Ensures all offer letters are created and submitted accurately to the respective approvers. Offer letters will be reviewed prior to submission to ensure accurate job title, wage, grade, and relative benefits associated with the position. Ensures all relative licenses required for the job are identified, communicated to the candidate, collected, and recorded Orders pre-employment drug tests and report on pre-employment drug testing results. Performs appropriate follow-up action on candidates who have failed or not completed pre-employment drug testing. Orders the pre-employment background check and report background results that require additional follow up. Performs appropriate follow-up action on candidates who have not completed background. Responsible for ensuring timely completion of onboarding documents and communicates directly with Recruiters any changes to candidate start dates Welcomes all guests to the Employment Center at the front counter and demonstrates an upbeat and positive, professional demeanor at all times. Provides accurate information and support to applicants. When preparing new hire packets checks rehire status, identifies required cards, identifies hire type and appropriate hire status Verifies rehire eligibility for all previous Caesars Entertainment employees and requests follow up from the Recruiter if any issues arise based on rehire results. Conducts and facilitates processing sessions Processes new hire paperwork, checking for accuracy and completeness. Welcomes all candidates to the Employment Center and demonstrates an upbeat and positive, professional demeanor Provides accurate information and support to applicants. Creates and processes gaming registrations to include appropriate follow-up with candidates who have not completed gaming registration and/or provided payment. Coordinates with other team members and keeps them informed of updates made by the USCIS and Nevada Gaming Control Board Responsible for ensuring all pre-employment activities, inclusive of onboarding documents, I9, drug test, background, and all relative licenses, are received and processes are completed prior to the candidate’s effective start date to ensure completion of all pre-employment activity. Communicates directly with the Recruiter any changes to start dates Responsible for ensuring candidates are accurately entered into HCM once all pre-employment activated are completed Responsible for resolving candidate issues identified within New Hire Audits in a timely manner to prevent payroll issues Responsible for developing relationships with Recruiters, Talent Specialists and Employment Coordinators to ensure excellent customer service. Ensure consistent, high-quality service standards are maintained in the Employment Office. Ability to work in a fast-paced customer service, multiple tasks, decision making and demonstrated team interaction. Provides information and excellent customer service to internal and external customers. Maintains confidentiality of all applicant and employee information. Monitor legal compliance with Caesars Entertainment, federal, state and gaming laws & policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must be 21 years of age or older.
· High School Diploma required. College degree preferred. Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certification, specifically a Nevada Gaming License. 1 - 3 years Human Resources experience preferred Previous hotel/casino experience preferred. Must have strong attention to detail Previous experience working with employment documents required. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office products, HRIS, and Applicant Tracking Systems (preferably Oracle HCM and Oracle Recruiting Cloud). Must be able to work independently. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies Computer experience in Word and Excel required. Must be able to type 45 wpm. Must present a well groomed appearance. Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner. Must be willing and able to learn new skills and tasks quickly. Must possess excellent telephone etiquette skills, customer service, organizational and communication skills. Have demonstrated ability to take initiative, be detail oriented and self-motivated. Must be able to get along well with co-workers. Ability to adjust to the needs of the department.
