The Talent Development Consultant is a combined role of engaging facilitation, innovative content design, and advising our internal clients with the goal of creating optimal learning experiences. The design and delivery components of the role require significant collaboration with other consultants in Talent Development, and with Business Partners, Business Advisors, and leaders across the firm.
In addition, the TD Consultant will evaluate business education and talent development programs in alignment with the unique, complex needs of Baird’s business units and the firm as a whole. Success will come from being charismatic, persuasive and effective in delivering an integrated learning platform to a variety of audiences.
This is a hybrid opportunity working onsite Tues - Thurs at our headquarters in Milwaukee, WI.
As a Talent Development Consultant, you will:

Create new training content based on development goals, business needs, and industry trends.Leverage existing and new delivery mechanisms (online webinars, in-person classroom experiences and digital content) to enhance learning and development outcomes through modern program design.Maximize learning experiences by skillful use of available tools and establish follow-up resources for continued learning.Collaborate and Prioritize:
Partner and consult with HR Business Partners and Talent Development colleagues on learning and developmentManage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure that deliverables and timelines are met within the allocated budget.Learn and Be Your Best:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Communications, Adult Education, related fields or equivalent experience training and/or professional development.Outstanding presentation and facilitation skills to engage a room and have the talent to adjust to audience learning styles. Select candidates will be asked to deliver a 20-minute presentation.Capability to learn current or existing coursework and quickly adapt to teach within accelerated time periods.Experience in areas such as Talent Development, Human Resources, Talent Management or with Inclusion and Diversity Training is preferred.Facilitation or coaching certification preferred (or willing to earn within 1-2 years).Experience in a financial services industry or professional services firm preferred.Proven track record of project management within cross functional team environments, supporting multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to advise and support within the Talent Development team, abroad our global Human Resources department, and across Baird’s Business Unit and Corporate Resource Groups.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Zoom.Experience working with performance, talent, and Workday learning management systems preferred.Drive to learn new and innovative tools for instructional design.Diverse portfolio of accomplishments using learning technologies including instructor-led, web-based delivery and tablet or personal device approaches (iPhone, iPad, tablets, etc.).Ability to work in the downtown Milwaukee office Tues - Thurs weekly with flexibility to add onsite days as business and client needs fluctuate.#LI-SB1
