The Role

The Talent Management Coordinator is responsible for providing comprehensive support in the day-to-day operations of Human Resources and Talent Management, ensuring the efficient delivery of human resources function across the agency to ensure HR service to the organization, including agency employee record management (M-files), employment verification management, military leave and unemployment claims management.  Works closely with other departments to provide customer-focused, effective HR service interacts with internal and external stakeholders.  Develop key relationships with internal and external professionals as liaison to Sr Director of Human Resources and Talent Management.

Responsibilities

Severs as liaison for all legal and compliance related requests involving employment records; and internal and external requests for employment survey compilations.  Manages the day-to-day office supply coordination and keeps abreast with employment law poster updates and oversees disbursements to appropriate facilities. Serves as a central point of contact and liaisons with Employee Relations, HRIS, Talent Acquisition, Organizational Effectiveness and other departments and groups. Coordinates with Talent Management and OE Administrator to schedule team meetings, department outings, and events.Establishes and performs office support work procedures; monitors workflow and conformance with quality and format standards; prioritizes work processes to enhance productivity.Collaborate with Senior Internal Auditors and Chief Audit Executive on special projects, audit field work, and other activities.Defers to management as needed any situations requiring attention such as inability to meet deliverables as defined in project plan.Ensures deadlines are met, quality work is performed, and reports are accurate and written in an understandable manner.Proofreads correspondence and demonstrates professionalism in interactions with internal and external customers including auditors/examiners.Ensures outsourced internal audits on the annual audit plan are completed in a quality and timely manner.Tracks and follows up with corresponding internal departments and auditors; assists in evaluating the sufficiency of documentation/responses; ensures corrective action has been taken in response to audit findings/recommendations; escalates any issues to CAE and Senior Internal Auditors for further actions.Receives and provides information to Agency management officials, Commissioners, and Agency personnel. Disseminates information to state and federal officials. Reviews and revises policies and procedures proposed by auditors and/or regulators to meet the internal and regulatory requirements. Manage unemployment claims.Administer and maintain policy updates.Audit, distribute, and track all employment law postings to ensure compliance.Interpret and explain Federal, State, local policies and procedures on statutes in response to inquiries from departments, employees, applicants and the public.Assist Sr. Director with HR projects as assigned.Assist in collecting employee retention data, including exit and stay interviews, employee engagement and retention related data which supports agency business needs. Support Talent Management team members with employee performance management. Assist with data collection to assure EEO FTA program compliance.Responsible to track and maintain data collection for employee relations, talent acquisition retention program efforts.Manage and maintain employment file (M-files) management processes.Coordinates preparation of position descriptions, job evaluation templates, and ensures FLSA classification compliance.

Work Environment

Moderate physical activity. Degree: Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Years: 3+ years’ experience in Human Resources, or Business Administration related field
