Job Description:
The Talent Management Specialist plays a pivotal role in bringing RaceTrac’s values and philosophy to life by connecting talent initiatives to our mission and vision. In this dynamic position, you’ll help shape and support programs that inspire employees, foster engagement, and accelerate performance to drive impactful business outcomes and contribute to building a thriving, high-performing culture at RaceTrac.
Responsibilities:
Supports the Talent team in executing talent management processes including, but not limited to, employee culture surveys, goal setting, performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, 360 feedback, and leadership development.Designs and delivers essential process training to empower managers and employees.Analyzes key talent metrics and provides stakeholders with insightful reports that highlight trends and identify opportunities for improvement.Coordinate survey distribution and employee communication, analyze survey results, prepare detailed reports, and collaborate with teams to develop actionable plans based on findingsSupport the design and execution of Talent Reviews, Succession Planning, and Performance Management by contributing to strategy development, preparing communications, providing training, creating supporting documents, and managing follow-up processes.Oversee the 360 feedback process, from participant selection to summarizing key themes, in close collaboration with the vendor.Support the implementation and ongoing management of leadership development programs, including organizing materials, schedules, and communications.Assist in the development of the career architecture framework and take ownership of maintaining the associated tools.Maintains strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, HR Leadership, and vendors to identify and implement new, innovative solutions.Serves as the point of contact for troubleshooting system issues for all Talent and Performance tasks and processes in Workday.Partners with HRIS resources to conduct research, determine project scope and test new talent and performance processes in Workday.Performs any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience required2-3 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Management, Organizational Effectiveness, or Talent Development preferredStrong interpersonal and written communication skills; ability to professionally interface with all levels of the business including senior executivesProven experience and confidence in facilitating presentations, with the ability to adapt messaging to diverse audiences effectivelyAnalytical and reporting skillsHigh attention to detail at handling multiple competing priorities and duties in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with minimal daily oversightProject management skills preferredFlexible team player who actively seeks to contribute to the success of the team and organization in a positive mannerExperience working with a Human Capital Management (HCM) system (Workday, ADP, Kronos, etc.)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred, with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologiesAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment with RaceTrac without regard to their race, national origin, religion, age, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by local, state, or federal laws, rules, or regulations.
