Position Overview:Are you looking for a dynamic opportunity to use your strong operational background within our HR division’s Talent/Recruiting team? Do you like to operationalize functions, systems and critical processes, optimizing them for efficiency and effectiveness? We are searching for a versatile Operations Specialist to join our exciting team supporting a broad range of operational processes, reporting/compliance and administrative HR functions.
Our Impact:The Talent Operations Team consistently supports Freddie Mac’s overall Talent strategy by collaborating cross-functionally with our internal partners, vendors and HR teams. We perform primary recruiting operations including immigration and mobility administration, vendor management, new employee preboarding and onboarding, talent technologies and tools, and more. All the while, we prioritize outstanding candidate and employee experience throughout.
Talent on this team has strong administrative experience and top-notch knowledge of HR process and programs. They have a growth mindset, are comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in an evolving work environment. They maintain and operate from company policies and seek optimal ways of conducting work to increase productivity and to safeguard the company through compliance with employment laws.
Your Impact:Support larger HR team to implement smooth, consistent and compliant candidate and employee experience related to HR system communications and workflows, employee data and payment processing, relocation, travel and/or immigration program administration, and technical system use. This includes some of the following:
Use HR technology platforms and systems to support talent advisors, provide reporting and enhancements, perform compliance reviews, performance updates and periodic audits
Maintain talent tool system performance and enhancements and vendor management
Deliver excellent experience throughout the total TA employee lifecycle activities from pre-boarding to welcome phases including employee queries.
Handle operational issues while collaborating with relevant partners for resolution
Generate reports and analytics related to programs and/or external requirements
Support administration of Immigration, Relocation and Referral Benefit programs.
Collaborate with broader HR team to enhance workflows and processes
Maintain confidentiality about crucial matters and employee personal data
Qualifications:4 years of related work experience with critical HR lifecycle processes from applicant to onboarding
Current experience with Workday Recruiting Platform, Applicant Tracking system, Phenom CRM and other talent tools
Intermediate knowledge of Excel (pivot tables) and PowerPoint for use in crafting reports and spreadsheets, analyzing metrics and delivering presentations
High attention to administrative detail; proven problem-solving skills; experience with solving technical issues
Ability to identify process improvements, requirements and update guides.
Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent HR generalist experience

Effective communication skills, including comfort in presenting to leaders and vendors
Ability and curiosity to master technical tools and convey implementations to partners

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $76,000 - $114,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
