Job Description Summary

#TeamAAM is looking for a Talent & Organizational Development Lead to join our Driveline team in Three Rivers, Michigan!

The Talent & OD Lead ensures talent and learning strategies are implemented and in line with the business vision and mission through formulation of effective strategies, plans, policies, and procedures. They will lead the development and implementation of improved organizational effectiveness capabilities through change management, organizational design, development, and training to achieve organizational objectives. They will also provide ongoing consulting services to assist management in monitoring, reviewing, and evaluating organizational effectiveness. This individual will also provide advice and support to management on aspects of organizational development, effectiveness, and improvement of the existing organizational climate.

Job Description

• Understands learning and OD status by studying accomplishments and failures; conducting surveys; leading focus groups; analyzing organization structures, jobs, and relationships; evaluating the effect of change initiatives.
• Creates and manages project plans for learning and OD initiatives.
• Improves learning and OD performance by recommending and implementing new policies, procedures, job supports, training, managerial practices, communication methods, and recruiting strategies.
• Consults with managers by exploring opportunities; clarifying problems; analyzing alternatives; providing recommendations.
• Contributes to organization planning and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.
• Facilitates implementation of talent management and organization development initiatives.
•All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

Required:

​High School Diploma or GED.3-5+ years of experience leading training/OD initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred:

Bachelor's Degree.Automotive experience.Prior experience managing an apprenticeship program.
