As part of the overall Merck strategy to drive quality-based, cost-efficient, and timely service delivery, this role will be part of the GES Employee Services organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and attracting external talents to join our thriving organization. This role will report to the Team Lead, Recruitment Operations and partner closely with Talent Acquisition Advisors as well as Hiring Managers within regional scope.
Your Role:
Partner with internal stakeholders to understand the concrete demand and work along the defined sourcing strategy (i.e. target list of companies, required experience level, hard skills etc.).Identify, approach, and assess prospects and present longlists to Talent Acquisition Advisors and Hiring Managers.Ensure that promising candidates will be matched to live requisitions on the applicant tracking system and take care of accurate documentation and compliance with procedures, policies, and regulations.Based on defined mid- to long-term need ensure a continual flow of prospects into our talent pipeline for future vacancies, i.e. create, build, maintain and nurture talent pools via our state-of-the-art candidate relationship management platform and to keep prospects engaged.Ensuring adherence to our DE&I objectives.Capture & provision regular feedback to immediate supervisor and other interface partners to further improve the sourcing function. Ensure that customer expectations are addressed professionally, effectively and efficiently. Represent the Talent Sourcing team in any stakeholder engagement as needed. May be assigned to drive or participate in initiatives or projectsSeek opportunities for continuous improvement and work on constructive feedback. Understand confidentiality requirements to perform HR activities due to the sensitive nature of the work such as personnel data and sensitive information.
Who you Are:
Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or any equivalent degree.
Preferably at least 2 years of experience specializing in an HR Operations or HR Recruitment function
Understanding and experience in job boards (Career site, LI and other company platform)
Strong organizational and documentation skills and a high level of attention to detail as well as solid communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently but as part of an international, virtual team.
Strong service orientation, sense of urgency and quality.
High level of flexibility, creativity, pragmatism and personal drive.
Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Perform timely, accurately, and effectively to deliver with a constant and demanding workload.
Able to decide effectively in managing and resolving requests/issues raised by Talent Acquisition Advisors, Hiring Manager or other stakeholders in a quick and effective way and when to escalate.
