This is a FULL-TIME position. **Summary:** The Tap and Assembly Person will be responsible for operating tap machines, assembling products, and ensuring all items meet company standards. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently . **Responsibilities:** + Operate tap machines to secure or remove caps, lids, or other closures from various products. + Assemble products by following detailed instructions, including manual assembly tasks and the use of small hand tools. + Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet or exceed company standards. + Maintain accurate records of production and assembly tasks. + Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tap and assembly equipment to ensure optimal performance. + Adhere to safety and quality standards at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). + Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and resolve any issues that arise during the shift. **Qualifications/Requirements:** + Previous experience in a similar role or in a manufacturing/assembly environment is preferred. + Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with hand tools are beneficial. + Ability to follow detailed instructions and perform tasks with precision. + Strong attention to detail and quality assurance. **Physical Requirements:** + Ability to stand, walk, or sit for prolonged periods during the shift. + Requires manual dexterity to operate machinery and handle small parts. + Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and move objects as needed. + Requires visual acuity to inspect products and documentation. + Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. + Exposure to various physical conditions, including moderate noise levels and occasional temperature changes. **Wage:** $17-$20 **Position:** Tap and Assembly **Schedule:** Monday - Thursday 2:15 pm to 12:45 am **About Express:** Express Employment Professionals is a locally owned and operated job match company.
