The Challenge: Researching and recognizing the pieces of information relevant to target material development can be more of an art than a science when those crucial details are hidden within a sea of data overload. What if you could use your experience in all- source analysis and target material production to assist the Department of Defense (DoD) in those efforts? As a Target Material Analyst on our team you will follow targeting intelligence functions in accordance with applicable policies and directives while conducting extensive all-source intelligence research and analysis in order to perform basic, intermediate, and advanced target development in support of lethal and/or non-lethal engagements. Specifically, the Target Material Analyst will: - Apply a wide range of analytical skills to monitor, assess and report on intelligence pertaining to specific target systems and produce finished all-source target intelligence products. - Perform all source analysis to accomplish Battle Damage Assessment (BDA), produce BDA products and assist with combat assessments. - Conduct target planning and writing/editing of OPORD/CONPLAN/OPLAN Annex/Appendix and provide input to targeting policy support. - Provide recommendations for target prioritization in order to achieve commander objectives for plans and operations. - Support the target vetting and validation process. - Develop and leverage Measures of Effectiveness (MOE) and Measures of Performance (MOP) indicators to rate targeting guidance and objectives. - Compile visual depictions of target intelligence to aid senior decision makers. - Conduct Quality Control (QC) of target materials. - Develop training materials and conduct on-the-job training for personnel as required. You Have: - Active TS/SCI clearance - *3-10 years of relevant targeting material development in support of DoD operations - Ability to be self-motivated and work independently as well as in a team environment - Ability to adapt to changing situations - Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills *Additional education may fulfil experience requirements in some cases.
