The Task 6 Screening and Vetting Lead is responsible for the activities of the Pathfinder Screening and Vetting team. This team executes a dynamic mission centered on those who have applied for benefits associated with entering the United States. This role assists in setting and establishing goals and executing the plans that meet the task objectives, working closely with the Government sponsor and Pathfinder Task 6 leadership. The Screening and Vetting Lead may be required to review processes and proposed changes, provide system performance feedback, and perform statistical and trend analysis and impact assessments. The Lead is responsible for the training and execution of the screening and vetting team, identifying and placing talent, mentoring team leads, monitoring budgets and time charging, responding directly to the Sponsor and communicating effectively with Pathfinder leadership. The Screening and Vetting Lead may identify and prioritize areas of improvements and provide updates to the training team as necessary. In addition, the Screening and Vetting lead may assist the Pathfinder Task 6 lead in the overall management and leadership of the task which includes achieving critical objectives.

Requirements:

BA/BS or equivalent experience and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience. Generally has 4+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects.

Knowledge of NCTC analytical tools and databases used on a daily basis

Knowledge of mission, roles, responsibilities, policies, and procedures of the ODNI, NCTC, and IC

Strong communication skills and experience in briefing to audiences at all levels

Experience building relationships and working effectively with customers

Experience managing people to include staffing, mentoring, writing appraisals, conducting salary planning, training and remedial actions as required

Management and/or team leadership for a large, mission focused team comprised of Leidos and subcontractor teammates

Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing tasks in a high-pressure, dynamic environment

TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance

Pay Range:Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
