HX5 is currently seeking a The Task Order Cyber Security Team Lead supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide cyber security and security engineering support to multiple enclaves for the Command, Control, Battle
Management and Communications (C2BMC) Task Order. Effectively manage both skilled personnel and technically complex systems. Review system changes and project management initiatives for security implications and recommending improvements. Research and draft Cyber Security policy and procedures in accordance with NIST and DoD Risk Management
Framework.  Evaluate different network and enclave configurations with respect to Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Secure Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), NIST 800-53 Security Controls and ISO/IEC 15408 Common Criteria to
formulate and implement effective RMF accreditation packages and be accountable for quality work products. Lead Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) and governance teams in successful implementation and documentation
of cyber posture across all assigned systems. Maintain responsibility for, and provide subject matter expert support to, the Cyber Security staff for resolving complex
Cyber Security issues, including but not limited to MacAfee Endpoint Security (ESS), Multifactor/Public Key Infrastructure
(MFA/PKI) implementation, DoD Cyber Tasking Orders (CTOs), and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS). Lead Vulnerability Management Team (VMT) in efforts to document, track, and assist in resolving vulnerabilities across
multiple enclaves. Produce coherent and concise documentation required for certification evaluation. Support the cyber security posture of ongoing C2BMC Test Events and activities. Prioritize and execute tasks within provided schedules and timelines. Support customers at the task order level in the development and implementation of doctrine and policies. Advise the customer and IRES leadership on future cyber capabilities and solutions.  Lead the support efforts for all CND products and services to the Organizational Manager and Director in coordination
 with the Directorate Cyber Security Lead and IRES Chief Information Security Officer.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 3 years of general experience; Master's degree and eight (8) years of general experience Bachelor’s degree and ten (10) years of general experience. Associate’s degree and twelve (12) years of general experience; HS Diploma and sixteen (16) years of general experience Must have 9 years of directly related experience Must have 3 years of experience working in a management or leadership role Excellent leadership skills. Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including experience briefing senior contract and Government
leaders

Desired Requirements:

Have a degree in a Cyber Security or IT technical field Holds an DoD 8570 IAM Level II or Level III certification Have experience with Missile Defense systems and operations Have experience with C2BMC development and/or operations Have an understanding of boundary protection devices, including firewalls and IPS devices and their relationship to
cybersecurity concepts Have experience leading Cyber Security operational and governance teams

Other Position Requirements:  

Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position. Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation. Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.  Must be able to travel, including air travel.
Must have a valid Drivers License.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours. 

Salary: The salary range for this position is $155,000 - $180,000
