Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a Task Order Project Manager (TOPM) to support network infrastructure and engineering services for the Defense Logistics Agency Information Operations Enterprise Enclave/Information Operations Secure Enterprise Enclave (IOEE/IOSEE). This position is part-time remote and will require the employee to report onsite at our Springfield, VA office once a week, as well as other customer sites.

As a Task Order Project Manager, you will lead the overall management of the contractor team and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the PWS are implemented in a timely manner. The TOPM will coordinate work carried out under the contract with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and Contracting Officer on all contractual and business issues. The TOPM manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned program area to ensure the successful Tier III/IV Network Engineering support to the DLA network.

HOW A TASK ORDER PROJECT MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Provide the planning, direction, coordination, and control necessary for effective and efficient accomplishment of all requirements contained in the individual task order.

Oversee a large, complex task order (or a group of task orders affecting the same system) and shall interface with the task order-level Task Order Managers, Government management and contract personnel and customer agency representatives; responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s) and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner.

The TOPM provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned project or task(s). 

Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules, and prepares status reports.

Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

Responsible for scope, cost, schedule, and performance of assigned project or task(s). 

Manages or directs resources required to perform assigned project or task(s). Includes:

Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned projects, including contract, subcontractor and CTA partner management.

Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned program area

Serves as the primary client liaison and escalation point

Supervises assigned staff, including subordinate supervisors and teaming partners

Manages, coordinates and/or develops deliverables, project plans, reports, presentations and task order and administrative reporting.

Ensures quality of task order deliverables and services that may include participating in reviews, audits, and site visits.

Attends customer meetings and serves as primary client liaison.

Directs program activities to meet client and organization work objectives and serves as a liaison with clients to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems.

Manages risk and issue tracking process.

Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.

Supervises and ensures compliance to government and GDIT international travel policies

Prepares and provides various reports and technical reviews to senior management as requested.

Reviews future project requirements and develops strategies for future work.

Manages compliance with GDIT program reporting requirements to include monthly KPI project performance reporting.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED - REQUIRED:
● Security Clearance: Active Secret security clearance AND have attained a favorable outcome of a Tier 5 investigation

● Certification: Must have Project Management certification (i.e. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, other recognized PM certification, etc.)

● Education: Bachelor of Science or Arts Degree in related field, or 4 additional years of related experience in lieu of degree
● Year's Experience:

5 years relevant experience

5 years of leadership experience in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields.

● Skills and Abilities:

Demonstrated capability for an extreme attention to detail

Strong Ability to effectively multi-task and successfully manage across numerous, simultaneous complex technology projects and initiatives.

Excellent communication both written and oral

● Location: Hybrid - includes customer site visits; must be local to DC area

The likely salary range for this position is $123,250 - $166,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
