A vacancy for Product Safety Enhancement has been arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe, Spain.

We are a transversal and multinational team based in Spain (Getafe) and Germany (Manching).

RESPONSABILITIES

The overall mission of Aviation Safety team is to ensure that the Safety culture and behavior is
transmitted at all levels of Airbus Defence and Space organizations. We constantly strive to
enhance safety together in our quest to reach zero accidents, by promoting the safety culture,
improving the safety of our Military Air System operations, enhancing the safety of our products
and anticipating for safety.
As Product Safety Enhancement Engineer you will be responsible for...
 End-to-end occurrences investigation and resolution (Initial and Risk Assessments,
Mitigating Actions, Action plans, relationships with Official Flight Safety Aviation Agencies
and Authorities, etc.), through P&FS Tool, and any other software tools related to events
registration and monitoring, Safety Requirements.
 Supporting Safety Requirements, aimed to increase the Safety level during the products
operation.
 Actively participate in the monthly Permanent P&FS Committees to ensure development
of the P&FS Process.
 Ensuring that for the Airbus Defense & Space aircraft fleets, safety issues are adequately
treated in other existing Committees and Panels: Service Bulletins, Modifications, etc
 Supporting safety data and proactively identify issues via safety trends analysis.
 Performing safety risk assessments.
 Spread out actions aimed to prevent, control, or eliminate potential risk factors in air
operations under the responsibility of Airbus D&S Military Aircraft and ensure proper
dissemination of lessons learnt.

SKILLS

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
 University degree in aeronautical engineering.
 Technical knowledge of Airbus Defence and Space Military Air System platforms, and safety
culture in aviation would be considered as an asset.
 Knowledge of risk management, Safety analysis & process and SMS is an asset.
 Good team player with strong communication skills and personal engagement.
 Fluent in Spanish and Fluent in English.
