Responsibilities and Duties Develop and execute the company's tax strategy to minimize tax liabilities, maximize tax incentives, and support overall business goals. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and international tax regulations, including the preparation and filing of tax returns and related documentation.Identify opportunities for tax planning and optimization, such as R&D tax credits, transfer pricing strategies, and international tax planning. Manage tax audits, assessments, and inquiries from tax authorities. Collaborate with external tax advisors as needed. Oversee the tax provision and reporting process, including income tax accounting, deferred taxes, and effective tax rate analysis. Work closely with finance, legal, and other departments to provide tax insights and support for various business initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions. Identify and mitigate tax-related risks and implement strategies to minimize exposure.
Qualifications: Extensive experience in tax managementStrong knowledge of federal, state, and international tax laws and regulations.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.10+ years of combined public accounting or industry experienceBachelor’s degree in accounting (or equivalent)The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $174,000-$262,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
