Insight Global is seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong focus on tax to join it's Insurance Client's team. This will eventually be a hybrid position (first 90 days fully onsite) in the organizations Anaheim, CA office. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing tax-related accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and has a solid understanding of tax regulations and accounting principles. Responsibilities will include the following:

Prepare and review tax filings, including federal, state, and local returns
Possess knowledge of required state-specific tax documentation, ensuring compliance with all state regulations and timely submission of relevant tax forms and records
Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes in a timely manner
Research and stay updated on tax law changes, identifying potential impacts on the organization
Conduct thorough tax analysis to ensure compliance with applicable regulationsAssist in preparing financial statements, ensuring accurate reflection of tax positions
Advise management on tax-related matters to optimize financial outcomes and reduce liabilities
Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors during tax audits and reviews
Maintain accurate and organized tax documentation and records
