Adecco is seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Tax Accountant** to join our client’s team for a 3-month contract in Jacksonville, FL. This role will involve the preparation of complex individual tax returns, utilizing both paper and digital documents. **Top reasons to work with Adecco:** + Competitive pay: $50/hr per hour + Upskilling opportunities through the Adecco Aspire Academy + Dedicated onboarding specialist to guide you from offer to your first day. **Qualifications:** + Minimum 3-5 years of recent experience preparing complex individual tax returns + Strong proficiency in GOSystem Tax RS + In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations + Excellent organizational and time management skills + Ability to work independently and as part of a team + Strong attention to detail and accuracy + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + CPA certification and/or a degree in Accounting preferred **Responsibilities:** + Prepare accurate and timely individual tax returns (Form 1040) + Organize and input client data into GOSystem Tax RS + Review tax returns for accuracy and completeness + Collaborate with internal staff to ensure smooth workflow + Stay up-to-date on tax laws and regulations **Pay Details:** $46.18 to $50.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
