The Tax Accountant is responsible for managing and preparing tax filings and compliance, ensuring all financial records, statements, and reports align with local tax laws and regulations. This role involves analyzing financial data to identify potential tax savings and ensuring accurate and timely submission of tax returns.
Prepare and file accurate tax returns, including VAT, income tax, withholding tax, and other relevant local tax filings.
Ensure compliance with all local tax laws and regulations.
Conduct regular tax audits and assist with external audits.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date tax-related records and documentation.
Identify and implement tax-saving strategies and opportunities.
Provide tax planning and advisory services to the organization.
Liaise with tax authorities and handle any inquiries or audits.
Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure tax compliance and support financial planning.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports related to tax.
Preparation and issuance of BIR Form 2307
Ensure compliance with BOI requirements
