Description We are looking to add a Tax Manager to our team based in Plano, Texas. The Tax Manager will be instrumental in managing and executing our daily tax operations, conducting in-depth tax research and analysis, and ensuring our tax strategies are efficient and compliant. The Tax Manager role also involves preparing and reviewing our tax calculations and reports, as well as fostering relationships with tax authorities and external auditors. Hybrid with Unlimited PTO. Responsibilities: • Manage the daily operations of the tax department, ensuring efficient workflow. • Develop and implement tax strategies in compliance with laws to promote the company's financial efficiency. • Conduct detailed research and analysis on tax issues, staying abreast of changes in tax legislation. • Prepare and review the company's tax calculations, estimates, and reports to ensure accuracy. • Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns. • Coordinate audits and serve as the main point of contact for external auditors. • Educate the company about the impact of tax laws and potential tax issues. • Foster and manage relationships with tax authorities and external auditors. • Oversee accounting staff on taxation issues, promoting coordination and efficiency. • Utilize accounting software systems and tools like ADP - Financial Services, CaseWare, CCH ProSystem Fx, and CCH Sales Tax for efficient and effective task completion.Man Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential • VAT and Sales Tax Experience • Public Tax Experience Preferred • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required • Strong understanding of Compliance laws and regulations • Excellent Customer Service skills are required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
