Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a Business / Financial Analyst - III to join their team. As a Business / Financial Analyst - III, you will be part of the Indirect Tax Team supporting the Sales and Use Tax functions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Business / Financial Analyst - III
**Location:** Basking Ridge, NJ (Hybrid - Tuesdays/Wednesdays)
+ Responsible for the accurate and timely filing of transaction tax returns.
+ Implement process improvements through innovative and creative thinking.
+ Utilize automation tools (e.g., Alteryx) to reduce redundant tasks and design process flows.
+ Analyze financial data from Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Revenue Accounting, and Corporate Accounting.
+ Reconcile large data sets using Excel, Excel Power Query, and Microsoft Access.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience in a related field.
+ Three or more years of relevant work experience.
+ Thorough knowledge of State taxes, such as Sales and Use and other pass-through type taxes.
+ Ability to develop methods to streamline processes and tax planning strategies.
+ Experience working independently and in a team environment.
