Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity in Barrington, Illinois. As a Tax Preparer / Accountant, you will be working with Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, CCH ProSystem Fx, and CCH Sales Tax. Your primary focus will be on tax preparation, but your responsibilities will also extend to a variety of accounting functions, customer service, and data entry tasks. Responsibilities: • Facilitate the preparation and submission of customer tax documents • Utilize Accounting Software Systems for data management and record-keeping • Deploy ADP - Financial Services for effective financial management • Operate CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax for tax-related functions • Execute various accounting functions as per the firm's requirements • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns • Perform data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency • Monitor allowances and deductible items in customers' financial documents • Review customer accounts regularly and take necessary action when needed.
