Job Title: Tax Accountant
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and proficient Tax Accountant with corporate income tax experience. This role is ideal for new graduates or candidates with 1-3 years of experience who are eager to work and excel in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling various tax-related tasks, including federal, state, and corporate income tax, tax provision, and tax depreciation.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare and file federal 1120 corporate tax returns.
+ Handle accounting for income tax or tax provision.
+ Manage federal, state, and corporate income tax matters.
+ Utilize Workday, AS400, Bloomberg Tax, and Onesource software for tax-related activities.
+ Use Sage for fixed assets management (transitioning to Workday soon).
+ Work with tax forms and compliance, including C Corp and tax depreciation.
+ Assist with international tax matters (a nice-to-have skill).
+ Ensure proficiency with Excel for tax calculations and reporting.
+ Communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.
Essential Skills
+ Corporate income tax accounting and tax provision.
+ Preparation of federal 1120 corporate tax returns.
+ Proficiency in Excel.
+ Experience with Workday, AS400, Bloomberg Tax, and Onesource.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field (strongly preferred).
+ Experience with Sage for fixed assets management.
+ International tax experience (a plus).
+ Motivated and eager to work.
+ Ability to take an Excel proficiency test (required).
Work Environment
The team consists of 7 members and offers a lot of flexibility for personal appointments and family commitments. There are growth opportunities, with the next level being a Sr. Accountant role, which requires 5-7 years of experience. The position is 100% onsite initially, with potential for a hybrid arrangement after training. Working hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM. The workplace includes an onsite cafeteria, gym, and opportunities for team outings, picnics, and baseball game events. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
