Join us and build an exceptional experience for yourself, and a better working world for all. **Tax Accountant, Tax Accounting Risk Advisory Services (Senior) (Multiple Positions) (1546063), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, New York, NY.** Assist companies with all aspects of their financial reporting for income taxes, including tax accounting, tax provision procedures, and controls design and testing. Under supervision, serve companies that need assistance with tax accounting for transactions or their on-going tax provision process, including ASC 740, provision process and internal controls over the tax provision. Focus on tax guidance and consulting related to tax accounting and planning, including internal restructurings, acquisitions, dispositions, carve-out financial statements, GAAP conversions from US GAAP to IFRS or IFRS to US GAAP, share based compensation, financial statement restatements and balance sheet remediation of tax accounts. Review the tax provision process to improve efficiency and accuracy and enhance the control environment and assessing tax risk and control environments inclusive of and beyond the boundaries of Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404. Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with team members with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services focusing on more complex, judgmental and/or specialized issues. Demonstrate technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:** Must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Tax, Law, or a related field, with two years of progressive, tax or legal experience; or alternatively a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Tax, Law or a related field with one year of tax or legal experience. Experience may be gained as part of the required education, including co-op and/or internship experience. Must have 1 year of experience in tax planning and compliance, including at least three of the following: internal restructurings, acquisitions, dispositions, and/or GAAP conversions. Must have 1 year of experience with a professional services firm, mid-sized/regional to large sized/national public accounting firm, law firm, or the IRS. Must have 1 years of experience with federal income taxation. Must have 1 years of experience with ASC 740 and/or IAS 12. Domestic travel required up to 50%, to serve client needs.
