As a Tax Accountant, Transaction Tax, your role will involve the timely preparation and completion of tax compliance for multiple entities. You will be responsible for preparing tax work papers and tax returns using tax software. In addition, you will be involved in reconciling general ledger tax accounts, participating in tax audits, and conducting various research projects.

Actively and consistently supporting all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.Accumulating, analyzing, and processing financial accounting data to prepare tax returns.Ensuring timely completion of all tax compliance requirements.Maintaining tax records.Researching and resolving notices received from various taxing jurisdictions.Reconciling general ledger accounts.Processing journal entries for the tax department.Conducting research on taxability issues.Researching monthly variances (increases/decreases) in taxes for the department.Compiling data to defend tax audits.Performing tax research, planning, and participating in other special projects.Coordinating and communicating with members of the tax and accounting departments and system personnel.Performing other duties as required.As an integral part of our Corporate Tax team, you will assume a pivotal role in shaping and advancing Spectrum's growth trajectory through effective tax management. Leveraging your tax expertise, you will ensure an accurate representation of our business operations in compliance with tax regulations. By providing insightful tax analysis, you will empower our leaders to make informed decisions and ensure comprehensive stakeholder communication.
