Join us! **Job Description:** Responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and other tax laws. The Tax Advisor will be pivotal in preparing, reviewing, and filing tax documents and will work closely with senior management to identify opportunities for tax optimization and compliance strategy enhancements. **Responsibilities:** + Responsible for federal, state and other tax compliance filings including the review and signing state tax returns and approving related tax payments. + Research technical tax issues impacting compliance filings, responding to IRS and state requests, project management, and identifying simplification opportunities and enhancements within the tax compliance processes. + The candidate will have direct communication with associates with varying levels of experience throughout the enterprise (Corporate Tax, Finance, Technology, Operations, etc.) and with service providers. Great communication and teamwork skills are critical to success. **Minimum Qualifications:** • Minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting or in a tax role within a corporate setting • Federal and State Income/Franchise tax compliance experience • Strong Analytical Skills/Attention to detail • Strong written and oral communication skills • Ability to analyze US GAAP accounting and tax laws • Extensive experience with MS Excel • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a dynamic environment in order to meet internal and external deadlines • Strong time management skills **Desired Skills:** • CPA certification • Experience with Corptax software and SAP general ledger platform • Experience with Emerging Technologies such as Tableau and Alteryx **Shift:** 1st shift (United States of America) **Hours Per Week:** 40 Bank of America and its affiliates consider for employment and hire qualified candidates without regard to race, religious creed, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, genetic information, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, protected veteran or disability status or any factor prohibited by law, and as such affirms in policy and practice to support and promote the concept of equal employment opportunity and affirmative action, in accordance with all applicable federal, state, provincial and municipal laws.
